Honoring individuals who made significant impact on Downtown Northampton during their lifetimes
Eva Trager Memorial
Every two years, the Eva Trager Memorial volunteer committee seeks nominations of names of individuals who made significant contributions to the vitality of downtown Northampton during their lifetime. The committee is currently seeking nominations for individuals who have passed between September 2019 and present. There are many individuals who have made notable contributions to the Northampton community; however, the Eva Trager Memorial is specifically meant to honor individuals who made a significant contribution to Downtown Northampton.
Criteria for Nominations:
1) Someone who has passed since the last Eva Trager Memorial Ceremony (September 2019).
2) Someone who made a meaningful and significant impact on the vitality of downtown Northampton.
3) Someone who had a vision of a better downtown and acted on this vision, pulled many others along the journey, and changed the way they thought and acted.
4) Someone of generous spirit who helped others, both downtown neighbors and customers.
5) Someone who recognized the importance of being involved in downtown activities.
